First Plein Air of the Summer

I’ve been painting but can’t seem to get myself to put anything on the blog.  This one is from June.  I went to a friend’s  and painted the side of her house.  What I liked about the scene was the lighting–sharp shadows on the grass and a bit of light on the curtains inside the windows.  The flowers were nice too.

Very nice to see yet another surprising facet of your work. You are a true Renaissance man.
